Opens mechanically by depressing the bottom fin, which opens the bottom hinged jaw. Good antique condition no major dings or dents. The rhinestones have some chips around the edges, see photos.
Has hints of original color. Looks like it was originally a reddish brown color or at least highlighted in that color.
