19th Century Chinese Export Hand Enamelled Birds Flowers Butterflies Celadon Cup. Antique Canton Famille Rose. This is a larger size cup. Please see photos for size. I can always find plenty of plates, but tea cups are becoming harder to find.
Circa 1820, enameled with pheasant, floral and fruit sprays and butterflies. Has a gilded butterfly, pheasant, rim, base and handle. There’s also a white cylindrical object I can’t make out.
Condition is good. Nice ring when tapped on the side. The gilding is quite nice for its age. The bottom has some minor flea bites, but nothing major. Please see close-ups.
